Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Leadeth ProfileIQ™ (“ProfileIQ”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data. Who this applies to

It applies to people who sign in to ProfileIQ and to LinkedIn profiles that are audited using the tool.

What we collect

• Account details from your LinkedIn sign-in (via OpenID Connect): your name, email address and profile photo. We never receive or store your LinkedIn password.
• Public LinkedIn profile data for the profile you audit — headline, About, experience, banner, public photo and similar public information — collected from the public web.
• Content you provide — an uploaded headshot, a self-reported SSI score, or a target-venture brief.
• Usage & billing data — audits and reports you generate, and payment records. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we do not see or store your card number.

How we use it

• To generate your profile audit, personalised report and recommendations.
• To create and manage your account, and to take payment for paid reports.
• To send you service emails (e.g. your report is ready) and, where relevant, follow-ups you can opt out of.
• To validate email deliverability and to keep the service secure and reliable.
• To show opt-in members on the leaderboard — only if you choose to appear.

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We rely on: consent (which you can withdraw), performance of a contract (to deliver the audit/report you request), and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service. Leaderboard listing is based on your explicit opt-in.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors to run the service, each under a data-processing agreement:

• Supabase & Vercel — hosting, database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI generation of report content
• Apify — collecting public LinkedIn profile data
• Reoon — email-deliverability validation
• Resend — transactional email
• GoHighLevel — our CRM record of your enquiry

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some processors are outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can delete your account at any time (see below), which removes your data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. You can delete your account and all associated data from your account settings, or by emailing alex@leadeth.io. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only, to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, let you know.
